Leadership Fundamentals

Program overview

Leadership Fundamentals is designed to develop effective leadership behaviour of middle managers and leaders with specialist skills and direct supervisory responsibility for staff.  It is also designed for thought leaders, specialists and professionals with strategic influence over organisational effectiveness.

Leadership Fundamentals starts with examining the individual’s work preferences and management styles, based on personal reflection and input from others in the workplace.  Then it Leadership Fundamentalsis followed by a series of sessions focusing on setting goals and plans. A number of industry, political, community and business leaders will discuss practical leadership applications and challenges with the group. Participants will also have the opportunity to review Leadership publications and develop a community based projects during the program.

Program Methodology

This Leadership program consists of a series of one-day workshops designed to minimise the disruption to the day to day work.  Each session will focus on real business case studies and learning skills in an experiential manner. Visiting speakers will include business, community and political leaders.

Action learning is a central part of the learning process. The group will be coached to plan and develop a company or community based project for the duration of the program.

Program Timelines

Leadership Fundamentals program modules may be run once a week, once a fortnight or once a month depending on the urgency and need of your company and the number of modules you choose in the initiative.
